5 Point Star

Hello everyone. Been a while since I have posted. I sneak on and read from time to time and I get some great patterns from here as well. Speaking of patterns. I have had trouble finding a pattern for a 5 point star that is about 8-10 inches big for a Texas afghan that a friend made and she asked me to do the stars. Anyone have any ideas on this?

heymom, thanks for the link but the ones they have are only 3-4 inches and I need at least 8. 10 would be better.
Twinfaye, a yarn pattern preferably. The blanket is yarn.

Have you looked at the free patterns on the Red Heart site? Just a suggestion. Good Luck!

Thank you all for the help. I will be checking out the red heart. I have checked most of the others and all I get is a 3-4 inch star.

If you are still looking for a 5 point star, Maggie Weldon has one in the free dishcloth patterns. Measures 10" at widest points. pattern #286.
