Hi, it looks to me to be a granny square. I don't make granny squares so someone else might be sure. Armybrat is so good at this.

Thanks I'm not good at granny squares. Would the cluster stitch look similar?

If I had to I would put my eggs in w/ everyone else....granny square....as for the elephant sc.....as for using a cluster that would make one stitch, so ch st would be needed....

The blanket is a granny square but the elephant could be cluster, bobble or waffle stitch.
