Yes they are and if I can't find a pattern I might have to buy them than everyone will ask did I make them and I will have to say no. lol

If you could locate someone that might take the time and trouble to go thru the wonderful old issues of Decorative, or Magic Crochet magazines, as they no longer publish either mag, they, lots of times had curtain patterns in them, and perhaps could find something that would serve your purpose.

I have a lot of those magazines and have made curtains from them but never seen something quite like this in any of them. still hoping somebody has seen it or similiar. thanks for your help

Well, I gave it a shot, not everyone has access to those crochet wonders, which was why I suggested them. Hope you are successful in your quest, is there any way one could enlarge the picture, and perhaps try to adapt something from that?
I am a thready, but curtains are not my "thing", I love doilies, and what to do with the boxes and boxes of them I have from both my mom and myself? No one seems to use them anymore, shudda done curtains I guess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
