Need Help Please! Crochet Shorts from Something Borrowed

Request for help from aporfirio on:

Kate Hudson's amazing crochet shorts from Something Borrowed

Has anyone tried to make these? I found the pattern for the circles and pineapples. I don't think there is a "real" pattern out there for the whole thing. The waistband is a piece of cake. I can't find the filler patterns and need ideas for: Attaching to the waistband, shaping for the shorts pattern (ie: crotch and curved areas) HELP!

Look at club.osinka.ru. The page is in Russian but can be translated to English. The pattern is shown in symbol form. Hope this helps.

I found this similar pattern for crocheted shorts. I haven't tested the pattern, but at least it's written out and not just a chart!
Mostly Crochet: Those amazing crochet shorts! Free charts and written patterns of the motifs!
