Diamond pothodler pattern?

i think htat is what it is called, i looked it up and it seems to be the same one i am lookiong for however i am struggling thru the instructions. has anyone made one?

i endedup having 2 pieces from the ring on down, the one i had was one solid piece, i think i forgot to join the whole stinking thing somewhere. But i had to hand write it and my writting is aweful these days.lol

I found it on a vintage pattern site and i am not sure how to get it here. If you look up diamond pot holder you might be able to find it

yes thank you so much. My one concern is that the new one is only single layered, single crochet. Do you think that will be heavy enough?
