converting knit patterns to crochet
I know I saw a question about converting knit patterns to crochet here a while ago. Sorry, can't find it now. I wanted to let you know about a book I got from I think Books a Million last spring. It's called From Needles to Hook (Complete guide to converting knit patterns to crochet). It's by the Needlecraft Shop. It has the knit pattern and then on the same page the closest crochet stitch to the knit one. It shows you how to do the different stitches and then there are one or two patterns at the end of the chapters. Very clear instructions and beautiful pictures. It only cost $6.97, which is a good buy for all the stitches and patterns in it . Hope this helps. Caro

Yes, I had no idea one could do that. Change from knitting to crochet. How clever? Thanks for sharing.

I think I was the one who asked the question because I had seen so many knitted patterns but I make this huge mess when I try to knit. The other part of the question was what is knook. Now, if I find that out I will be a happy camper.

Thanks Carolyn1953. I asked that question a short while back & this sounds like just the thing I was looking for. Thanks for remembering.

Knook is using a crochet hook but the project looks like knit. It is another skill to learn. I bought the kit to learn and I still haven't tried it. Youtube also has videoes on how to use it.
