Hi, I am Leona. I knitted for about 30 years and thought I would never understand crochet. One day I picked up a crochet hook and made a granny square, then a butterfly, then a poncho in know time at all! Currently I am making some really cute blouses. The pattern I am looking for my Aunt made for me. Gradually I grew out of it and my mother gave it away. I would like to try to make it.

It was a 1970s victorian style crochet blouse found in a good housekeeping or better home and gardens magazine. It was done in a coats and clarks thread size 30 ecru. High collar with circular yoke, long medalion motifs sleeve with a long cuff and the rest of the body was done in a v-stitch. It was a bridal blouse

    Hello and welcome,

It is nice to meet you and have you here with us! I do not have any older magazines. If you knew which year it was and month, you could request it through interlibrary loan. Maybe the library could help you search for it? Hope you find it and glad to have you here on site!

Thank you for making me feel welcome. I called the library--they don't have anything in 1970s family circle. leona

I am looking for a plain old silver chain that does not break so easily. Can you help me?
