3D Snowflakes
I discovered this by accident, when i had a pattern that called for making 3 snowflakes ; same pattern ,then starching them at a particular angle to make a snowflake that had 6 sticking out parts to it. Needless to say , i couldn't get the angle right and i had these look alike snowflakes ( everybody knows no 2 snowflakes look alike) and i was holding them all together, each one bent in half and decided to try sewing them together, down one half, back to back to back.Wullah! I'll add a pic soon my camera battery is on charger now.
I mean sewing them on the edge around half way (or you could crochet the edge), 2 of them and opening it up and sewing the third to the unsewn edges of both the sewn together snowflakes. fronts facing out, of course.Last edited by Kitty; 11-06-2012 at 11:47 AM.

I'm part Irish, my Mom used to say there's Lace Curtain Irish and Make Do Irish and we were Make Do!! If something is not quite right you change it to make it do.
