purse lining
does someone have a easy way of putting a lining in a crocodile stitch purse.I made my granddaughter a meirmaid bag and she said grandma my pencil fell out.[/I]

Have you tried...oh what's it called, tuol...you know that vail looking stuff? I was told it's easy to sew and I thought I would use it for my purses for popuri....sorry about the spelling....

Thanks....I got that out of my cross stitch book and adapated it for crochet....um Wal-mart has it 97 cents a yard...you know it's the stuff we wrap candy in for favours...? I know I'm spelling it wrong...

I just use an appropriate color, inexpensive broad cloth to line my purses. Hope this helps.

It's a solid color, light-medium weight cotton fabric. All you have to do is ask the salesperson in the fabric store where their
broadcloth is.

I use material that goes well with the yarn color of the purse! Although it's a nice surprise to use a nice bright color-you open your purse and there's a pop of color! You can find small amounts of material in a bundle called Fat Quarters! This way you don't have to buy a lot of material-and they come in all kinds of patterns and colors! Hope this helps!
