Betty White
My name is Betty White & I live in North Bay, a town of 60,000 in North Eastern Ontario, Canada. Today, it is cool out doors & it is trying to snow.
I am a divorced 70 year old woman & I am a bit shy. I have 3 children-2 girls & a son. I also have 2 Grandchildren. I enjoy taking my dog for daily walks (weather permitting) & watching my cat Whiskers, who, for some reason wants me there while he is eating. My oldest daughter lives locally so I visit her as much as possible. My two youngest live out of town.
When I first got married (years ago) I didn't know how to knit or crochet. My Mother-in-law taught me the basics of both. From then on, I read "Learn How" books & practiced stitches until I was able to make many beautiful items. In 2011, I joined a Seniors Club that work on articles for preemies; lapghans for people in wheel chairs & any thing else I want to make. At the moment I am finishing up a three piece outfit for a newborn.
I hope to make new friends through this news letter.
