Need suggestsion

so I found this pattern for a doll dress.

Dotted Delight

fell in love with it I really want to make it for my niece, even though I prefer yarn to thread. But I need suggestions on counting the beads out. I am supposed to thread 377 before I crochet my chain. Any suggestion on keeping count of the beads. I thought maybe the same way I keep track of chain counts every 50 or so tie a piece of yarn does anyone have any other ideas.

marking every 50 sounds like a good idea. going to be pretty when done!

Honey, if that system has worked for in the past, I would stick with it!! How is it coming along for you? Is it working with the beads as well as counting stitches?

That is a really pretty dress! No wonder you want to make it! I agree with thesuggestion about marking certain numbers if beads,I think I would do 25 though!
