Help!!!!!!

I am trying to figure out how to go about pricing things. I have never done this before so I am very afraid to do this on my own. I am afraid that I am going to set my prices to high and not going to sell my products once they are done. Can anyone tell me how to go about pricing things so I am not ripping my customers off but not cheating myself in the long run? I have a project I want to do that is called a pooch pullover. I know that in the stores they run for $20 a piece so how would I price that so I can sell mine and still make enough money to buy more yarn?
