Grils Shrugs

Looking for simple crochet pattern for grils (6-8yrs old) shrug and short lightweight jacket pattern. Something that can be worn in our weather.
Live in GA; don't need a heavy weight jacket very often.

I looked at all the shrugs. I found two I liked. Both are for adults. One is "Palm Beach Shrug". Don't know how to make a smaller size. The child's bust measurement is 26.
Also like "Betty" and Crochet Boloro LC1487 (this would make a cute swimming suit cover up)
