    Learn something new everyday...

    I learned today how to crochet using this technique of a no chain foundation. This is awesome. I don't think I'll ever use a chain foundation again!

    It really makes a nice difference in the tension of a chain and makes a big difference of the first whole row.

    I like using that method too! I think it looks a lot neater, especially on an afghan. the first edge looks much better!

    Hey there, Lin! Isn't the No Chain Foundation great?!? Took me awhile to get the hang of it but it really does look much better than a chain foundation. It's great for starting Tunisian crochet too.

    There's a hdc or dc NFC too. I'm sure it's on YouTube somewhere, just haven't looked it up yet.
