    Lightbulb beer can holder

I am looking for a crocheted armadillo beer can holder pattern. This is an older pattern and, I believe, uniquely Texan. It is stuffed, sits upright when holfing a can, but on all fours otherwise. I am hoping somebody out there can help me.

Wow! This sounds really cute - I have not been able to find anything on the internet but this which is an armidillo pattern but not to hold a beer can. I wonder if there is a way to add to the pattern to create a holder:

Thanks Val - at least yours is a free pattern that may be able to be modified slightly for the beer can.

Maryjane....just copy the patterns & paste them into a word document. They'll be there when you're ready to print some.

Barbara, it is really cute and makes a terrific gift idea. The pattern was given to me when we first moved to Houston in the late '70's, and now I can't find it in my files. I just hope someone out there has it and is willing to share it.
