extra special neck warmer for my friend

I would like to make for my young friend for the winter season, and crocheted neckwarmer, but a really special looking one, as she does so much for me, and I want her to know how much it means to me.
I have looked at some cowls, and seen things I like in one or 2, and then things I don't like. Is there such a thing as a perfect neckwarmer? Wanting you gals to help me find it, know it is out there.
