Getting in the mood for Christmas

After picking up two one pound skeins of Bernat Happy Holidays yarn I am finally in the mood to do some Christmas crocheting. I think I'll use it to work up a huge oval doily for my kitchen table. I don't exactly have a pattern, just going to wing it as I go along.

I like this yarn better then some I have seen because it has a silver metallic thread in it and it has three strands one in red, one in white and one in green, rather then it being variegated like the other yarns. Wish me luck, never know what I'll end up when I don't have a pattern.

I've been working on wine bottle hats and scarves with that yarn, for the local winery down the road!! He sold a lot for me last year! I'm also making little teddy bear ornaments! They are sooo cute! Will post pictures when I'm done!
