Hello,
Good question! As a mod, I am located in Oklahoma. The forums do operate on GMT -06 time. You should also be able to go to your settings and change your time zone for posting purposes.

Click settings at the top when you are logged into the forums. Then, on the left hand side of the new page you will see an option that says general settings. Click this and scroll down to see where to change your time zone settings.

I suspect the server, wherever it's located, is set for GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) WHAT IS GMT? GMT is an absolute time reference & doesn't change with the seasons. Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) was established in 1884 at the International Meridian Conference, when it was decided to place the Prime Meridian at Greenwich, England.
More than anyone but me wants to know. Thanks BG for the info.
