2012 North Carolina State Fair project update:
I finished the pieces a couple of days ago and finally had enough dry weather/sunshine to be able to move it outdoors where I could work on it with natural light and without pet hair.
I have a ways to go, but I will get there. More photos are at my blog post.

Fantastic job. If you get anything below a blue ribbon(and it had better be purple) those judges are blind!!!! Can't wait to see the finished project. You are doing a totally exquisite piece of work!!!
