Help Please!
My mom is attempting to make this afghan. It is called Lacy Chevron # 41. Following the pattern we can not get it to look even close to the picture.
afghan.pdf Here is the pattern.. I don't know what year it came out.
Any help at all with this would be great. Every time she has tried it it doesn't work/look like it does in the picture.
Thanks
Paige

Where is she getting hung up? What part is not working for her?

Like Landon I have no way to help until I know where she is having trouble. It is a pretty chevron but they are a pattern that requires you to count every single stitch to keep the pattern straight. I would be glad to help once she lets us know her problem area.

She is stuck after the color change. The row doesn't seem to line up properly.

Aha! The haunting echo of "what am I doing wrong?" Um, just curious. I'm assuming a swatch has been done using a single pattern multiple...is that the right way to say it?
I admit I know next to nothing but could the pattern be wrong? Wouldn't that take the cake? I'd have to seriously consider shooting the typist (or typesetter). Good thing they're anonymous, huh? :-)

Oh, I couldn't download the pattern. It's so pretty. Would someone consider emailing it to me? >lynn.santabarbara@gmail.com< I see how having a whole bunch of stitch markers would come in handy! :-)

I am not good with this one ~ sorry. Be patient, someone should be able to help you. It may take a little bit of time, though.
