Cool Fun challenge from my niece.

My niece made me a challenge. She paints porcelien and I crochet. She
saw another picture afgan that I had made and decided we should each
do a picture of the Beatles in our own mediums.

Here is the result. Her porcelien and my crochet.

This is nothing more then a picture put onto a graph. I've done some on paper, but I was lucky and found a program
from Mary Maxim for doing hooked rugs. Scan the picture into the program and it sets it all up. You have to estimate
your sizes and numbers of rows, but as you can see, it works. Thanks for your response!

This took quite a lot of SKILL and I am very impressed with your results! I will look into that program, I went to Mary Maxim site but didn't find any software programs. I will continue to look for it. I am no where near the skill level I think I would need to be to produce a piece like this. It is simply gorgeous! Have you ever considered making them by taking custom orders? I would think people would love to have afghans with their loved ones on them, their pets....and much more, I am sure.

I love it!! Would be great for Christmas presents. Landon get all the details we need to look into this! I could do an afghan for my sil with the picture of his race car. I don't like him that much but I love my daughter and sometimes I have to be good to him to keep peace in the family. He is good to her and she adores him. He isn't mean to me but he just doesn't do anything for me that he isn't paid to do. He owns 3 car lots and he charges me for any work done and I drive an old truck but he doesn't offer to help me get a car. Could be worse I know but it irks me that he will do anything for a friend but not Marny's (my daughter) family.
