new fiber!
Ok everybody. I've seen mink yarn, camel, bison, dog, cat and all the more 'normal' mixtures. I just found a new one and to me slightly bizarre!

I don't have any experience with these quirky yarns but I had a mama possum and babies under my house in Nashville and they about drove me crazy!! My dog tried to claw through my hardwood floors to get to them. They are not cute!! UGH!!

I never head or seen yarn from possum.it's different.

IMHO, there are some types of fur that should NOT be made into yarn! Two that come to mind are skunk and oppossum!!!

It looks like regular yarn! Comes in regular colors. I may have to get some just so I can see the look on the face of whoever I give what I make with
it when I tell them it's possum!

i'd make sure that the person I gave it to was a very dear friend or relative WITH an appreciative sense of humor or someone I could NOT stand! Either way, the look would be priceless!!!

Omg, Jan, how funny! How to guarantee someone will never speak to you again...... LOLOL Well, I must say it sounds interesting. Dyed yarn I am supposing, possum colors are pretty basic, right? Gray and gray with black or white. More gray....
