Crochet Cross Square Pattern

I'm looking for a crochet square 12"to15" with a cross pattern. I have one made with a bobble stitch, but it just takes tooo long to do and I'm under a time contraint (Christmas). I've made 6 afghans since January each measuring about 70" square and I need 2 more, but the pattern I have moves at a snail's pace. Can someone help me?

Hi! Could you do the same pattern leaving a space instead of the bobble? You know like filet crochet?

Thanks for the information. I think this link is a great start. I could possibly use a larger hook and have it come out a bit bigger. Thank you for sharing.
