    hot pad

    I'm looking for a pattern for a hot pad that looks like a waffle on one side and a snake on the other. This is the only way I know to describe it.

    oops! I neglected to say that the hotpad is crocheted, and it looks like a waffle on one side and a snake on the other.

    Hmm...we have searched for this and not come up with a specific pattern. Here are the patterns we have on site for potholders:

    It sounds like the potholder may have the waffle stitch on one side of it and the other side is something different.

    Here is a dishcloth pattern I found that may be similar to what you are talking about. You could adjust the pattern and make it thicker, or doublesided. I would you a thick yarn like peaches and cream, maybe.
