    Hello from Arizona

What a terrific board this is; such a great place to share experience, patterns, and techniques. I'm new to crocheting and in just the short time I have spent browsing I have already learned so much. What a wonderful world of generous talented people who are willing to share their experience. When I embraced this new art form of crochet, my grandmother and aunts who would have taught me have long since passed. I truly appreciate you all.

I got addicted to crocheting doilies, and then baby hats, and then angels, and then adult sweaters. Wow, there is just no end to what one can do with a needle and ball of thread. My husband is amazed at how so many beautiful things can be created from "knotting" thread. I too am always amazed at the creativity in this craft.

Hello for Sunny and very Hot Arizona...

I have not been crocheting very long, but long enough to make a couple of throws, baby blankets and getting ready to make my Christmas scarfs for gifts. I know most of the basic stitches and few more advance ones (for me) and I enjoy crocheting for others....Everything I know I learned off YouTube Tutorials and if I can ever finish the two blankets I am working on I really want to learn how to do more....New to this board and haven't looked around, but hopefully I will be able to glean new ideas from here...Thanks for being here for those of us who really need you....
