    Hi all
    I am very passionate about crochet, in fact, I am so passionate about it, that I quit my job a few weeks ago and started to focus all my attention to my small crochet page on facebook (Auds-and Ends | Facebook )

    Hello and Welcome. I don't do facebook, but hope it works out for you.

    Do you know about Knit-A-Square? It's a charity in South Africa that has people from around the world crocheting or knitting 20cm squares and other items for children made orphan by the AIDS epidemic. The squares are sown in blankets and distributed to various child care facilities and squatter locations.

    There are still a few of us who do not use facebook, but we're a definite minority. I predict that within 10 years facebook with be the new MySpace. Once very popular, now virtually dead.

    It amazes me that people can't be bothered to know their neighbors, but will post details of their lives, which should remain private, where almost anyone can seem them. Oh, I know there's security, but hackers hack and nothing is totally safe.
