Anyone interested in old fashioned pen palling?

I know I'm new to this forum, but I was wondering....and maybe this is me showing my age

Is there anyone interested in becoming pen pals? I understand that such archaic communication is not the norm nowadays - and it looks as though someone started a group with this in mind (albeit there does not seem to be any activity since 2015)...As much as I like being able to reach around the world with our updated social media/email etc., I sure miss the good old fashioned art of simple letter writing - along with the anticipation of having to WAIT (dare I say!) for something to come via post.

If anyone is - please let me know. Whether it be here (US) or other country(ies)!!
