Hello! I am a new beginner to the Crochet world. I tried several times before to learn how but it never worked. Then I signed up for the Crochet Crowd and got the sessions from Mikey and I am off to a great start. I have several dishcloths completed and Koozies! I am in the process of a working on a beach cover up for my wife and an afghan for my daughter. And I am looking forward to the Yarn retreat in Denton!

Welcome to the group. I'm Jan. It's nice to know that a man is willing to try and enjoy what is considered a "woman's" domain. Actually crocheting was done originally by fishermen when they made their nets for hauling in fish. Then the women started doing it for clothing and household items.
