New Man from Texas
Hello! I am a new beginner to the Crochet world. I tried several times before to learn how but it never worked. Then I signed up for the Crochet Crowd and got the sessions from Mikey and I am off to a great start. I have several dishcloths completed and Koozies! I am in the process of a working on a beach cover up for my wife and an afghan for my daughter. And I am looking forward to the Yarn retreat in Denton!
Enjoy the time crocheting - Jschauzer -

Welcome to the group. I'm Jan. It's nice to know that a man is willing to try and enjoy what is considered a "woman's" domain. Actually crocheting was done originally by fishermen when they made their nets for hauling in fish. Then the women started doing it for clothing and household items. I'm sure you will enjoy the group. If you need anything, just ask, and someone or several someones will be glad to help you.

Welcome. It's wonderful that you realize that crochet is something a man can do and enjoy. The great football player Roosevelt Grier did needlepoint. He said it was the best way he found to relax.
