Hi from Rochester, New York
I have been crocheting since I was about ten years old having been taught by my grandmother. I also knit - taught by my mother. I love the elegant look of crochet and have a secret passion to learn to tat.

Hello,
Welcome aboard! It is nice to have you here! Maybe, if someone has a question about knitting in the forum - you can help us out! I have yet to learn knitting!

Hello and welcome. I'm Jan. I'm sure you will enjoy it here. I do something called cro-tat. It's like tatting but is done with a very slender crochet hook and the shaft is longer than a crochet hook. I learned it from a book I got from Annie's Attic. It had very detailed instructions on how to do it. It is a lot easier than trying to manipulate a bobbin and a shuttle. Have fun.

Hi Neighbor! I live in Bergen just west of Rochester. I have been crocheting for many years, taught by my grandmother when I was just a child. I do some knitting but enjoy crocheting more. What type of things do you crochet? I have a tote full of patterns and love to share. Robin
