    American Girl Doll Pattern

    If anyone does this pattern when it says to ss to ch 3 on the white underskirt if you ss to the top of ch 3 at the end of rnd then you won't have the ch 1 sp but if you join w/ss at end of rnd in the 2nd ch of the ch 3 which you started with, then you will have a ch 1 sp between the ch 3 where you started and the 1st dc

    I didn't sew the side seams like it says after row 54 cause I wasn't sure how far to sew on the sides but I think the side seams are from the top of the skirt to the armhole.

    I made this dress a few years ago for my granddaughter. I had to tear it apart many times. It could fit a one year old! I ended up going to Wal-Mart and measure an 18" doll for correct measurements . Some patterns just don't work out correct.

    I did this pattern a few years ago for my granddaughter. I had to tear it apart. I could fit a 6 mos. old. Went to Wal-Mart, measured an 18" doll and had to refigure the whole pattern.
