    Hello,

Here is one that uses lightweight yarn:

Hello pandaladytx, You can go online for American Girl Dolls and find so many patterns to make. I saved some of those patterns to make later for a baby by using a bigger hook and maybe adding a few more stitches.

The Whipped Cream baby dress is a pineapple design and it is a free pattern. I believe there were 2 patterns 0-3 months and 18-24 months. You can make this pattern smaller by using a smaller fingerling yarn and smaller hook.

    Hi Spoula,
I clicked on the website that you posted and it says that it's deceptive that Firefox blocked this because it might trick you or me into something dangerous like personal information or credit cards.

Hello jean Marie, This is the same pattern you posted. I just clicked on the link (from my post) and I went right to the Whipped Cream dress pattern. I use Microsoft Edge not Firefox. My computer is protected and I have no virus on my PC. Try again or try typing the link into your browser to see if you get the same error.

If anyone on here does get that error just type the link for Whipped Cream crochet dress free pattern and you can get the pattern.

I am sorry you had trouble and I hope nobody else has any problem with it.
If you want to just attach your pattern link to my post or yours it is the same pattern.

    Thanks for letting me know.

On the video she makes the dress for a 1 yr. old Also it says how many chains for a 2, 3 or 4 yr.old. On the video she starts w/100 chains which would be for a 1 yr. old. A 2 yr. old is 110 chains, a 3 yr. old - 120 chains and a 4 yr. old 130 chains so she is adding 10 chains for ea yr. older. So you could subtract 10 chains for a newborn.
