So far, I have only found knitted scarfs. I am still looking for a crochet pattern.
Here is a knitting pattern for a Harry Potter Scarf:

This picture shows someone who has used Red Heart yarn in the following colors to create a Harry Potter scarf: Red Heart Gold and "I love this yarn" cranberry.
Just need to find a similar scarf pattern:

Okay - here is a two pattern scarf you can use as your basic pattern. The skill level is easy and you will just need to replace your colors with Harry Potter colors!

The easiest way to work a Harry Potter Scarf would be to do it in Double Crochet. I'd work a width of about 8" - 10" and alternate the colours every 10 -12 rows. Continue alternating colours until either 1) you have the length you want or 2) you run out of yarn!
