If you are mailing squares...
The package has to lay flat or it will cost more. It can't be more than a quarter inch variation in thickness - no more than 5/8 of an inch thickness at highest point otherwise it will cost 3.50 if over 1 ounce. 1.1 ounce=2 oz. postage.
Envelopes larger than 9x6 can cost even more.
If unsure take to post office.
