Hi everyone. My name is Kerri and I am new to this site. Hopefully you may be able to help with a few queries that I have. I am a grandmother of 10 soon to be 11 and I am busy crocheting shawls, cot blankets, jackets etc but would like to make an African flower animal. Does anyone know of any free sites where I could get a pattern from please. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Kerri
Nice to meet you ....

Is this what you are looking for? this site is annoying with ads.
There are tons on Pintrest but I get impatient with Pintrest boards since when you finally get to where the original pattern came from you find it isn't free!!! I haven't found any any patterns for free for this ....I have never made one. I will keep it in mind
I just had a new granddaughter born on February 23...She is just the cutest little thing...

Hello Kerri, Welcome to the forum. I usual look on the Internet for something. I saw the link Terri posted for you and that is a very unique bear. It looks like it would be fun for children.

Hello Spoula. Thank you for the warm welcome into the group. The pattern looks lovely doesn't it. I thought it was about time that I tried something different. I hope I can do it justice for my new grandchild.

Hi Kerri, I had never made any thing other then baby blankets, sweaters, vest or dresses until I saw an Easter egg I wanted to try.
I made 2 little bunnies an egg, a stump for the bunnies to hide in and a patch of grass with some flowers for them to eat. It was for my grandson when he was a year old.
It was to teach him how to button and unbutton the egg to find the bunnies. He really liked it and now his baby sister plays with it when she comes to visit.
He sometimes takes it away from her because it was his. He is a good little fellow because he shows her how to unbutton the egg. Only she is having none of that help she wants to do it herself.
I thought that bear was really unique.I might try that bear but later as I am currently making baby dresses for my Great niece due in May.
If you make that bear let me know if it is difficult to do and please post a picture of it.
