Help - Diaper covers and wool yarn

I am trying something new. It is Amy's Diaper Cover made with wool yarn, and supposed to be water proof. Does a cover like this need to be soaked in dissolved lanolin repeatedly to keep it waterproof, as someone told me? Does the kind of wook make a difference?

Hmm...this is a good question - wool is naturally waterproof in and of itself. I did some research, but did not really find anything. I would think the lanolin would help to keep it soft.

But guess what I just found! Here is some really good info:

Thanks, this is really a helpful video, so simple. What could be simpler?! And to think that I thought it would be such a bother to handwash and lanolize diaper wraps!
