Blueberry Hill Cowl - Free Pattern

Just made a new cowl for my sister-in-law. I used an acrylic chenille I had in my stash because she wanted something really soft, but any #4 weight yarn should do. Thanks for checking it out on my blog - https://thecrochetedbutterfly.wordpress.com/

Thank you so much for your kind words!

When I went to the arthritis doc I had xrays done and I have arthritis at the base joint of both thumbs, my left being worse. I did get a cortisone shot and it helped quite a bit - and you can get the shot every 4 months (I'll be getting another the end of Dec.). I love crocheting so much I'm not willing to stop, so it'll be shots, ice, and lidocaine patches for now. Originally I thought I developed the arthritis because of the crocheting, but my sister has the same thumb arthritis and she hasn't crocheted a day in her life. Apparently the culprit is crappy genetics!
