Hi. i am june doyle and joined hoping to find acrochet afghan pattern use in the 70,s

Ha anyone seen recently a double treble crochet afghan pattern that is very airy and looks like flowers sitting in space. It finishes in a square and when folded in half corner to corner makes a lacy looking, feminine shawl. Some people thought the design was free floating flowers and others thought it consisted of loosely crocheted stars.

    Hello,

Welcome to the group! I did find this picture and did not know if it was kinda what you are looking for. The only problem with this one is that there was no pattern link to it. But, if it is what you are looking for, then it will give us a clue when continuing our search:

Actually, here is the lady who took a picture of this who is on Flickr. Maybe you can post a comment to see if she will respond, if this is similar to what you are looking for.

Hi June! And welcome! Is this afghan made of individual squares sewn together or is it just one big square? I have found flower squares that are about 6" square! Glad you joined us!
