Crochet questions...

I found this forum when I was searching for the answer to a crochet question. I crochet thread doilies mostly, but have done some Afghans. I'm hoping I can find the answer here.

Hi, Im having a bit of trouble navigating this board, but wanted to answer your post. Years ago I did some filet crochet, and found it beautiful! I recently picked up my crochet again, and am enjoying some of the vintage patterns. I have noticed that I don't see the #30 thread as well as I used to so am using #10 with a #7 hook. The doilies are not quite as lacy as I would like, but I am still enjoying making them. I may try using my magnifying glasses, that might help. Would love to see some of your work.
Did you do the one that is by your forum name?

Oh! I love the #30 thread a lot. I have made the bedspread from the #10 thread though with the #10 hook.
I post the photos of my works.

Not sure how to view your photos yet. I am just discovering how to get around this forum. I will try to post a picture of my doily when it's done.

I just saw your album, and I am in awe!!! They are gorgeous! I can only dream of being that good. Is your album a part of the Crochet Talk site? It's a great way to display them.

Thank you for the kind words. It is only free online album I have to brag. I made several posts at this site, but long ago. I do not crochet these days because my daughter left us her 4 months old baby. She works until Sunday far from here.
