Hi Jean Marie,
I live in South Carolina and we had a beautiful view from on deck on the back porch. It was awesome and my husband took pictures. He captured the total eclipse and 1 second later the sun burst through bright. The pictures are good but not as good as watching the wonderful show. It got dark and it looked grey before it got darker. We had 98 degrees in the sun and when the total eclipse was full the temperature dropped to 87.
