Many, many years ago when I was in high school and there was no such thing as airbags or seat belts, two classmates were involved in a car accident while the passenger had his feet were on the dash. Both of his legs were broken. The driver went through the windshield and had more than 250 sutures in his face.

Man, just the thought of this gives me the creeps.
I do admit in my youth I did put my feet up there time to time on long trips.
Now I dont think I could even GET my legs up there!! LOL

I do see people in other cars doing it, especially when we are driving around in the mountains, even at the slow speed I still want to yell at them to get their legs down!
