I was born in Chicago, but we moved to the suburbs when I was still a baby. I now live in a southern suburb. Have you made this cow yet? I appreciate you posting it.
I've lived in Chicago ever since I came to the US from Hong Kong. Which was 58 years ago. I can't imagine living anywhere else. No, I haven't made this cow. I have no children to give it to. But I can admire from afar. I'm glad you like my post.
Have you been crocheting long? I have been, but I make mostly afghans, scarfs, hanging towels, and some animals too. I live in a rural area, so I garden a lot. I have a bi garden, and I an tomatoes every year for the winter. I am retired. Are you?
I started crocheting in my teens. I like to make afghans too. I made about 20 or 30 of them then I gave them away. I had no room to put them anywhere. Yes, I am retired. I've been retired for over 10 years. You're garden sounds like a lot of fun. It's good exercise. I live in an apartment, so I don't have a garden. I used to live in a house that had a big garden. My Grandma & I used to grow winter squash there when she was still alive. It was a lot of fun.
I volunteer at our local animal shelter. I love dogs, and I have always had one. I am teaching a lady I work with there to crochet. It seems some of the young people we have there want to learn too. I get a lot of exercise from my dog too. He is big, and one year old. Can't leave him off the leash, so I have to walk him many times a day. He keeps me fit. You are an interesting lady. I would like to be friends.
