Hello from Florida

Hi. My name is Karen. I am 65yo and I have been crocheting since I was 19. I taught all three of my children the basics (including my son who wanted to learn at age 8) as well as my sister who is left-handed. Living in Florida is a challenge for a crocheter. I am lucky enough to have family and friends up north I can crochet for. I also like doing projects for charities. I would like to learn to knit again. I tried several years ago, but my things came out tight and curly. I consider myself to have a moderate skill. I also like working with other crafts and switch among them when I become bored with one or the other. Basically I enjoy being creative. Looking forward to the forums and getting new ideas or tips.
