help! does anyone have a key to read crochet stitch charts?
I have no trouble reading written patterns and have crocheted for many years. I am mystified by the adorable patterns out of the far east and the central European nations that simply have a stitch chart and instructions in an unknown language. I never learned the symbols for stitches so cannot decipher the patterns, I think it is time to take my abilities to another level perhaps. does anyone have a chart or graph that would help me understand these stitch symbols??? I am in the US so prefer US rather than British stitch guide. thank you in advance for your help. makes me feel kind of like an idiot but no time like the present to learn I guess
