Hi Jean, take a look at my post in the picture forum......with variegated yarn, .I chained 208 (for the width) and then DC 1 in the 3rd chain from the hook, and DC in each CH across to the end. Then CH2 and turn. DC in each DC to the end and that is the 2nd row of variegated yarn. Ch 2 and turn,
change color and cut the variegated yarn. Then I followed the same pattern with DCs making 2 rows of yellow, 2 rows of orange, 2 rows of red, etc, until I have 2 rows of EACH solid color.
Then I switch to variegated yarn for 2 rows.
Then back to the solid colors (2 rows of EACH color,) ,
then 2 rows of variegated color.
I will end with the variegated yarn when I get it as long as I want it. It is really so simple it gets kinda boring sometimes, except it is so pretty that it isn't boring for me. redhead, PattyLast edited by redhead; 09-02-2016 at 06:30 AM.

Hi Patty,
That's a nice afghan but a lot of work. Who is it for?

I'm glad you could post a picture and that you can crochet again.
