alioopszz new to Crochet Talk
Hi, I just joined Crochet Talk this week. I knit and crochet, mostly crochet lately. Over the past few years I have experienced problems with the yarn I use. Although the package says it's machine washable and dryable the yarn seems to shed and pill. When my girls were small I made them several knitted and crocheted outfits. They have been passed down to my grandchildren with no problem with washing or drying. However the yarn i get today doesn't seem to hold up. Any suggestions?

Have you tried using a yarn which is more stiff? Just a thought.
