    Hello Everyone

    I am new to this forum. I learned to crochet when I was about 20...crocheted for 3 years then started job, family etc and put down hook until 5 years ago when I retired and joined a church group of wonderful ladies that crochet prayer shawls and blankets as well as hats for the homeless and various other small projects. I really enjoy it because it gives me a purpose for my crochet. I can try all sorts of patterns and have somewhere for them to go. I have met wonderful people and learned so much from our group plus I love the fellowship. My latest project was hearts for the Peyton Heart Project and I am working on hats to give out in November. I probably do a blanket or shawl every couple weeks or so. Happy Hooking Everyone!

    Thanks, I have tried a little filet crochet but just blankets not doilies yet. Would like to try one for a friend but have not attempted it yet.
