can anyone figure this out?
I'm not making this but a lady on the knitting site had posted this and I thought I would try and see if I could figure it out. I came up with:repeat twice on row 13, repeat 5 times on row 14 (a total of 6 times) and decrease 6 times on row 15 to end up with 30 stitches.
clarification

Kat's Creations: Dedenne
I need clarification for
Row 13: sc next 16, dec over next 2, *sc next 4, dec over next 2* repeat 5 times (42)
Row 14: sc next 17, *sc, dec over next 2* repeat 6 times, sc (36)
Row 15: *sc, dec over next 2* repeat 3 times, sc next 16, *dec over next 2* repeat 6 times, sc (30)
I do not arrive at 30 sts.
Row 13=sc next 16, = 16 ~~ dec over next 2=1, ~~ *sc next 4, dec over next 2*=5 ~ repeat from * to *5 times=25 (42)
16+1+25=42
Note: though when it says to repeat that means that one work thrugh has already been completed. Should be stating repeat a total of 5 times, or repeat from * to * 4 times not 5.
Row 14 does not come to 36 -- error somewhere -- contact designer.
Row 15 not enough stitches to follow as stated - either at 36 sts or 30 sts or at 42 sts - error(s) somewhere - contact designer.
Note: at the other site it has already been stated many times -- major errors in this pattern.
So contact designer.Last edited by Corina; 06-04-2016 at 06:49 AM.

If you have 30 stitches after row 14, will the rest of the pattern work if you skip row 15? I think that is what I would try, on an amigurumi you probably wouldn't notice 1 less row.

I'm not crocheting this pattern. I just put it on here cause someone on the knitting site asked and thought I'd put it here to see if someone could figure it out.
