You might like to knit. I wrap the yarn around with my right hand or left hand when knitting. when I purl I wrap the yarn around with my left hand normally. Another way - You can hold the yarn in your left hand like you do when you crochet and pick the yarn up with the needle if you want when you knit or purl.

I find that it is more relaxing to crochet than to knit although I kind of like to knit but I can't knit as long as I would be able to crochet.
