I am new to posting and new to forums. I have been crocheting afghans for about 50 years. My grandma taught me when I lived with her during the summers as a way to keep me occupied. Now I do it as relaxation, meditation time, or to be doing something while I watch television.
I do simple to complex patterns. I am a yarn freak! It will take me years to use up what I have stashed away in bins so I look forward to exploring this forum and seeing what new ideas I run across.

Thank you all. I started a lot of different patterns with this yarn before I found one that I thought looked right. Straight line patterns gave it a striped look. I wanted the colors to mix it up. My friends tease me about that. They are always telling me I am going to wear my yarn out before I decide what to make.
